Using Walking to Lose Weight!
Walking for weight loss has been proven to be a great exercise for everyone. Although there are far more advantages to be gained from walking than just using it for exercise alone.
Walking burns calories and tones your muscles; this is excellent for our plan! But; were you aware that after an extensive test in America, walking has been scientifically proven to delay the effects of; Alzheimer’s disease!
As we all know, this is a devastating disease with often tragic consequences not only on the sufferer, but their families who also suffer in many ways.
The results of the tests in America; have proven that with regular exercise, particularly waking in the older generation positively slows down the memory aging process. Would you not agree that this can only be a good thing?
Another proven fact from the research was that older people, who waked an average of 7 to10 miles per week, nearly halved their chances of developing any symptoms of memory loss, or suffering the onset of Alzheimer’s disease!
The report came to light from an article released by the researchers at the university, Alzheimer’s disease Research Center. This was seen as a significant breakthrough, and reported in the media as such!
Although no age limit was actually stipulated of the participants of the research undertaken, it would be true to say that; walking for weight-loss, exercise, fun, well-being or any other reason can only be an easy, cheap, and enjoyable way to go about getting yourself into great shape!
Now, if you couple this with sensible eating, and slightly smaller portion sizes on your main meal plate; you are definitely on to a big winner. I believe that is what we all chasing, something that works for us as individuals.
Well people I can assure you all without any doubt, walking for weight-loss does work it has worked for me! The beauty of my walking is that I did not set out with the intention of losing weight through my walking! That was an unexpected bonus
